Willie Craddick, Jr. was tragically slain in his home on January 9th, 2021. He was a highly motivated, determined and kind individual. The GPP family is blessed to have known him and watch him grow during his high time as a GPP student. Although he is passed, we still want to honor him and his great success as a student, author, friend, son... You will be greatly missed and an inspiration to all. Thank you, Willie!
Louis Reyes, a senior at Calhoun High School will be graduating next month and was accepted to Kennesaw State University! We are very proud of you. Congratulations Louis!
Three outstanding Blairsville GPP seniors were recently commended by their employer, Corrugated Replacements, Inc. (CRI). Supervisor Rick Griesinger stated, “It has been an honor to introduction the next generation into the workforce. They each have the skillset to succeed in whatever career path they choose and I wish each of them the best.” The seniors (left to right, above) Logan Leis, Lance Underwood, and Adrian Shaw, are all college-bound, and Logan Leis has even been awarded a full scholarship by CRI to pursue his college education.
Shaw Plant T1 welcomes their first GPP students from Adairsville High School and their parents at a recent Student and Parent Orientation at the plant. Students and parents completed new hire paperwork, toured the plant and enjoyed a meal provided by Shaw Flooring. Congratulations!
Congratulations to our new Elbert County GPP student, Destiny. She is employed at the Elbert County Senior Center and is proudly joined by her supervisor, mentor and GPP Regional Coordinator. Destiny is just one of 5 students working in Elbert County's inaugural GPP program.
Jacob Lingerfelt, a GPP student at Woodland HS, is enrolled at the Bartow County College and Career Academy in the Welding Pathway. Currently, he is working two jobs and going to school. We are so proud of his determination! Jacob is pictured with GPP Coordinator Janet Queen.

Congratulations to GPP student, Bernice Cano from Cross Keys High School. Bernice received multiple honors and is now deciding on what college she will attend in the fall.
Congratulations to GPP student, Emily Perez from Cross Keys High School. Emily's plans for the future include continuing to work at the Department of Revenue over the summer and she will attend Georgia State University this fall. Great job and good luck!
