Georgia’s AT-RISK YOUTH NEED YOUR HELP
BECOME A VOLUNTEER, MENTOR OR LIFE SKILLS COACH
At-risk high school students in your community need your help to stay in school and go onto build more successful lives. GPP not only lowers dropout rates, but also strengthens communities while building Georgia’s economy. Help us continue to deliver on this promise by getting involved as a mentor, life skills coach, tutor or sponsor today. Most importantly, volunteers show students that they matter.
Mentors
For at-risk students, simply having a caring adult who is willing to provide regular support often means the difference between staying in school and dropping out. That’s why mentors are a critical component of the GPP experience. Whether participating in GPP Workplace or WorkPrep, each student is matched with a trained mentor who meets with him or her on a regular basis to provide the support and guidance they need to complete their education and be prepared for post-secondary opportunities and employment.
Contact info@gppartnership.org to become a mentor today.
Tutors
As a tutor you’ll provide sustained and caring adult interaction, through tutoring and academic support. High school graduation is a primary focus for the GPP program, and tutors are a vital part of helping students succeed and stay on track for graduation.

Life Skills Coach
Even with high school diplomas, many students are not prepared for adulthood and life in the workplace. As a Life Skills Coach, you’ll lead sessions designed to address this by teaching important skills, from work ethics to resume writing, job interviewing to goal setting, time management to financial literacy.

*All GPP Volunteers must submit to nationwide background and sex offender checks and are required to attend a volunteer training class approved by GPP, Inc.
Community Advocate
GPP is in need of advocates for all of our new and developing programs. You can support GPP in your community by becoming a Community Advocate. Help us spread the word about GPP, connect us with community partners, and assist us in finding local employers and jobs for students.

Host a GPP Field Trip
